Golden State Warriors are now just one more win away from avenging last year’s NBA Finals.
Quicken Loans Arena was packed with Cleveland confidence on Wednesday. The end results was a Warriors team that emerged with a thrilling 118-113 victory over the Cavs to clutch a very dominating 3-0 lead in the possible sweep series. The victory marked the first Game 3 the Warriors have won in a third NBA Finals matchup vs. the Cavaliers.
Kevin Durant had 31 points & 8 rebounds to lead the way for the Warriors and nailed a daring three pointer in the final minute. Stephen Curry had 26 points & 13 rebounds. Klay Thompson had an amazing game with 30 points that clearly helped carry the dynamic offense as well. There were incredible efforts by LeBron James who had 39 points, 9 assists & 11 rebounds. Kyrie Irving had 38 points to add, but it obviously wasn’t enough for the Cavaliers to upset Golden State in game 3.
Can we say sweep or is it simply out of the question because of Lebron? Game 4 will tell the truth.
